Overview
The Maple Leaf Solar project is a 500 kW group net metered solar developed by Essex Capital Partners. The project is located in the Maneely Corporate Park off of Shields Drive in Bennington, Vermont.
The project successfully submitted a 5.500 Application prior to Green Mountain Power’s net metering cap being reached on November 13, 2015. The project has received the support of several town and regional bodies, including the Bennington Selectboard and Planning Commission, as well as the Bennington Regional Commission.
The project was awarded a CPG in March of 2016 and commenced construction in the month of April, 2016. The project was commissioned on June 30, 2016.
