Halifax, MA – Halifax Solar on Tuesday closed on a parcel of land in Halifax, Massachusetts which is to become the future site of a 5 Megawatt AC ground-mounted solar array. The project will be interconnected to the National Grid distribution network, and will participate in the Massachusetts SMART program. Pre-construction work will begin this week on the site.
Halifax Solar is managed by Essex Capital Partners, an experienced developer of commercial and utility scale solar arrays in New England. The project will add to Essex Capital Partners’ existing portfolio of operating arrays.
